Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. To see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale, view the Acceptable Items page.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items, we only accept plastic hangers. You can purchase hangers from from Wal-Mart, Target, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels. You can purchase string tags from Wal-Mart, office supply stores, Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

SAFETY PINS – You can purchase large quantities of safety pins from the Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

BARCODE LABELS – If you would like to print your barcodes at home, you'll need adhesive address labels size 1"x2 5/8" (30/page). You can purchase labels from Wal-Mart, Target, office supply stores, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront.. All barcode labels must be printed in color.

OTHER SUPPLIES – You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc.), masking tape, scotch tape, and sharpies. You can purchase other supplies from Wal-Mart, Target, office supply stores, or Rhea Lana's Amazon Storefront..

CLOTHING and SHOES

At our SPRING & SUMMER EVENT we will accept Spring & Summer clothing (Children's, Junior, and Maternity). Swimsuits, sundresses, Easter attire, sleeveless tops, sports attire/equipment are all big sellers at our Spring & Summer Events. We'll also accept these transitional items: Light weight coats, jackets & sweaters, jeans, long pants, long sleeve shirts, and hoodies. We will not accept: Winter/puffy coats, ski gear, heavy sweaters, Christmas/Winter/Thanksgiving/Halloween themed clothing, winter gloves/hats/scarves, corduroy & flannel items, turtleneck items.

Please only bring LIKE-NEW shoes. We will be accepting shoes, sandals and flip flops. Please save all winter boots until our Fall/Winter Sale.

LIMITS - Each Consignor ID will hold up to 250 entries - this is what is included in your $15 participation fee.
INFANT CLOTHING LIMIT: 25 items sizes newborn through 9 months per Consignor ID. You are welcome to bundle multiple pieces together to count as 1 item.
MATERNITY CLOTHING: 15 items per Consignor ID. Must be CURRENT styles. Please ensure "maternity" is on the item description.
JUNIOR GIRL CLOTHING: We are accepting TEEN STYLES only in the following brands: Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas, Aerie, Alo, Altar'd State, American Eagle, Aritzia, Articles of Society, Athleta, BKE, Black Spider, Brandy Melville, Carhartt, Champion, Citizen of Humanity, Columbia, Deisel, Fabletics, Flying Monkey, Forever 21, Free People, Gym Shark, H&M, Hollister, Hudson, J Crew, Joe's Jeans, Judy Blue, Kan Kan, Lauren James, Levi's, Lucky Brand, Lululemon, Madewell, Mother, New Balance, Nike, North Face, Pacsun, Patagonia, Pilcro, Pink, Pistola, Ralph Lauren/Polo, Risen, Rock Revival, 7 for all Mankind, Silver, Simply Southern, Southern Marsh, Spanx, Spiritual Gangster, True Religion, Under Armour, Urban Outfitters/URBN, Vans, Vervet, Vineyard Vines, Vuori, Woolrich, Zara, Zyia

PREPARING CLOTHING and SHOES

GUIDELINES TO PREPARE CLOTHING
1) Check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, missing buttons, etc.

2) Wash and iron your clothes. The better they look, the better they sell.

3) USE PLASTIC HANGERS ONLY!
Please, no wire hangers; we will kindly ask you to switch to plastic hangers if items are brought to Consignor Check-In on wire hangers.
Note: Use children's plastic hangers for sizes 8 and below. Use larger adult size plastic hangers for sizes 10 and above.

When hanging your clothing items, make sure the hanger is facing to the left so it looks like a question mark - ?

4) Group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00.

5) Use larger safety pins to attach all pants to a hanger, ironed flat front.
Do NOT fold pants over a hanger.

6) All sets and accessories need to be pinned securely together, with pants hung on the back of the shirt; pin the waist of the pants to the shoulders of the shirt. Both pieces need to be seen without unpinning them. If a shirt/pant set are on separate hangers, rubber band the hangers together.

7) Sort clothing by gender, size and category. This will make your online entry process more organized AND will help streamline Consignor Check-In.

8) Pin the string tag to the LEFT shoulder (or right side when looking at the garment). Loop the string tag through a belt loop on pants, jeans or shorts in order to save a safety pin!

GUIDELINES TO PREPARE SHOES
1) Write your Consignor ID and price on masking tape and place on the bottom or inside both shoes.
2) Safety pin the string tag to a shoe lace or loop it through the shoe eyelet.
3) Secure the shoes together with a ziptie. If a ziptie cannot be attached, place shoes inside a ziptop bag and do not tape the bag shut.
4) SHOES THAT ARE TOO WORN, DIRTY OR HAVE HEAVY SCUFF MARKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please take time to clean your shoes!

BEDDING

Due to safety and sanitation regulations in the state of Texas, we will not accept bedding including comforters, crib bumpers or crib mattresses.

We will accept the following items for our bedding section:
Crib size sheets
Bassinet sheets
Twin sheets
Sleeping Bags
Nap Mats

BLANKETS

Hang and pin blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group 2 or 3 together on a hanger and pin them together. Safety pin the tag to the blankets. You may also place receiving blankets in a ziptop bag. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape on the top part of the string tag and use a permanent marker to write your Consignor ID and price on the bag.

MISC ITEMS

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc grouped together appropriately in ziploc bags. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape on the top part of the string tag.

Please do not tape your bags closed until after they have gone through Consignor check-in. Please write your Consignor ID and the item price on the plastic bag with a permanent marker.

Breast Pumps - The only brands we accept are Willow, Elvie, Momcozy, Motif, & Spectra.

We will not accept used nipples or pacifiers - only new, in the package of these items.

LARGE TOYS, CHILDREN/BABY FURNITURE and BABY EQUIPMENT

Large Toys and Children/Baby Furniture are in high demand! When tagging any large item, it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the item with your Consignor ID and the price of the item. This will enable us to sell your item even if the tag comes off. We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!

We accept children's furniture including changing tables, rocking chairs, children's beds, dressers, desks, bookcases, table and chairs sets and cribs (We can only accept cribs manufactured after December 2010.)

Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any item that has been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. You may check the following website for current recalls.

TOYS INCLUDING BOOKS, GAMES & PUZZLES

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.)

Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated, the item will not sell.

Books are not required to be in ziptop bags. If you are bundling multiple books, you can place them in a ziptop bag. Attach the string tag to the inside of the bag using a small piece of tape at the top of the string tag. Please also write your Consignor ID and price on the ziptop bag with a permanent marker in case the tag comes off.

Video games should not be taped shut until after they have been through Consignor check-in.

Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact.

All toys and games MUST include ALL pieces. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.

We do not accept stuffed animals.

CAR SEATS

For the Fall 2025 event, we can only accept Car Seats and Booster Seats manufactured AFTER August 1, 2020.

It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: https://carseat.org/recalls-and-replacement-parts-3/

All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned.

You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver at Consignor Check-In stating your car seat has all the pieces, is in excellent condition, and not more than 5 years old.

Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.

RECALLED ITEMS

We cannot accept recalled items.
We ask that you refer to the Consumer Product Safety Commission website (https://www.cpsc.gov/) and make sure your items have not been recalled, especially furniture and baby equipment.
We care immensely about the safety of children!
